A2 Music Video - Album Poster (Digipak) Draft 1

Here you can see i have created two posters for my album digipak. The reason to why i have two is because i couldn't decide which one looked best so i have decided to put them both up as i think they are equally as good. The background i used was taken by me, i went into London and took some photos of what would suit our look and genre and also storyline of the music video.

A2 Music Video - Music Video Final Draft 5

This was our final draft as we felt that this is as far as we could take it. Again we made some scenes shorter as some still lingered. We added some slow moving panning shots to add some movement into the production. I also included the song title in the beginning and my Logo for my album front cover so that people can link all my media conventions together, as I also used the same font across my production to again make it easier for them to link together.

A2 Music Video - Music Video Draft 4

In this music video draft we decided that we needed to clean the shots up as they seemed to overlap some of the other shots that we had. We also decided on that still some of the shots were still to long so we made some short or even shorter as this is what we felt had to be done if we wanted it to look great.

A2 Music Video - CD Album (Inside)

Here is the inside of my CD album. The inside shows a urban graffiti background that covers the whole of the inside of the album. As you can see in the middle in big, bold writing says ''BEGGIN''. This is the name of the song in our production. It shows the types of surroundings where the homeless people live everyday but it then changes. The white strips going across are to represent that there trying to forget about the old homeless life and move on as this is the storyline of our production.

A2 Music Video - Music Video Draft 3

In this music video draft I added in a visualizer behind the singers which gave a more professional meaning to the production. I made some of the shots shorter as they carried on for top long which may mean that the viewing could be getting bored. I also added more of the singers into the production as we didn't see much of them in the first 2 drafts.

Here is my digipak that I have created and decided on. I will be the top digipak that I will be using as it's different to most other digipak's are out there and it's a unique style as well. My target audience would be aimed towards young adults and teenagers.

A2 Music Video - Music Video Draft 2

Here is our second draft of the music video. We have added the singers in to the parts where they were needed and now we have to figure out a background to go behind the singers, i think we should have a groovy moving background similar to the official music video. As you can see we have sharpened the video up a lot but there is still some work to be done as some of the clips may not go with the music.

A2 Music Video - Music Video Draft 1

This is our first draft of our music video, as you can see it isn't prepared well as there are some bits we need to change and also add the singers into the song. This is only a draft copy of the music video so we haven't made it to our best ability, we decided to just collect all the footage and the put it in the correct order that we wanted it at.

A2 Music Video - Green screen practice

Here we made Jamie walk past the camera with the green screen in the background. We then decided to film a hand full of students waving at the camera, we then replaced the green in the background to the students waving. We done this as we wanted to see how good the green screen was.

Conclusion
In this questionnaire we found that:
·            --80% of the people we asked do watch music videos
·            --That we should do a performance and narrative based video as it was the top 2
·            -- That the 2 most watched music channels are KISS and MTV
·            --The top device music videos are watched on are computers
·            --The top genre of a music video was action
·            -- The most watched site for music videos is YouTube

So this results mean that we will be producing an narrative and performance based video as it was the favourite two, we also thought it would have been good to mix the two together as we think it will be a challenge to make and be a great outcome when produced.
I also found that most of the people that we questioned prefer to have action within a music video when watching it, but we cannot perform this type of genre in our music video as its based on a narrative which is a story so that would be the genre of the music video.
I found that a lot of the people that we questioned when watching music videos on the Internet over 70% of them said that they watch videos on YouTube and the second favourite was social media like Facebook, Twitter etc. So when going to promote our production online we should think using these two options as it would most likely give us the most views on the video. Linking with the Internet I asked 20 people “What device do you most watch videos on?”, and there was a veriety of answers from the 20 people but computer came out on top, then was tablets and joint 3rd was phones and iPods. We would have to have a video that would suit all 4 of these devices making the video fit for every single one of them.
